The SDAPHCC Educational Foundation strives to elevate the technical and business competence of the p-h-c industry by awarding scholarships to young people pursuing a p-h-c career.
2021 Scholarship Winners
This year, scholarships were awarded to following individuals.
Benjamin Pommer is a senior at Mitchell High School. He is currently employed with Krohmer Plumbing in Mitchell and works in their prefabrication shop. After graduation, he plans to study Plumbing at Southeast Technical Institute.
Brandon Kocanda is from Rapid City, SD. He is currently employed with Midwestern Mechanical as a 4th year apprentice in their Trades Academy. Brandon is a hard working employee with proven leadership skills. He plans to use the scholarship funds to offset his apprenticeship expenses.
Marzine Ables is also from Rapid City, SD. He is currently employed with Action Mechanical as a 2nd year apprentice. As an employee, Marzine makes meaningful contributions, cares about safety, and is enjoyable to work with. He plans to use the scholarship funds to offset his apprenticeship expenses.
The deadline for all applications and supporting materials is December 31. All applicants must be a senior in high school or a freshman in college and must be sponsored by a member of the SDAPHCC.
