WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1948, the SDAPHCC is a membership organization of active plumbing, heating, and cooling contractors in South Dakota and northwest Iowa dedicated to the promotion, advancement, education and training of the industry for the protection of the health, safety, and comfort of society, and the protection of the environment.
OUR MEMBERS
The SDAPHCC is composed of over 60 contractor members and 60 sustaining members. Our contractor members perform all types of work from residential and commercial to industrial and institutional. They range in size from one and two man operations to the largest contractors in the state.
Whether serving as a prime contractor or subcontractor our members engage in maintenance, remodeling, service, and repair in the following fields:
- Sheet Metal
- Plumbing
- Ventilation
- Air Conditioning
- Heating-warm air
- Backflow
- Process-piping
- Fire Sprinkler
WHAT WE DO
As an organization, we constantly strive to serve the needs of our members and the industry. We offer a variety of member benefits including an approved apprentice program, continuing education, annual convention, and a monthly newsletter. We work to create a positive public awareness for the profession and support legislative efforts to fight threats to the industry.
NAPHCC
The SDAPHCC is part of a federation and affiliated with the National Association of Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors (NAPHCC). The NAPHCC is the oldest trade association in the construction industry and the premiere organization for the p-h-c professional. Since 1883, NAPHCC has been the leader in promotion, advancement, education, and training. Today, NAPHCC serves more than 3,500 contractor members across the country.
