Each March, the SDAPHCC, in partnership with IAPMO, offers continuing education courses for plumbing contractors and journeymen. Sixteen courses are scheduled across SD and northwest IA. These courses have been approved by the South Dakota Plumbing Commission and fulfill the continuing education for license renewal.
Registration information is mailed in January. Classes are typically held throughout the month of March and the course fee is $80 per person. Class locations are: Aberdeen, Brookings, Huron, Mitchell, Mobridge, North Sioux City, Pierre, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, Spearfish, Watertown, Winner, and Yankton. The in-person classes for 2026 are complete.
If you have questions about your attendance certificate, you can contact seminars@iapmo.org or call 1-708-995-3000. Certificates will be available approximately 60 days following your class date and are issued by IAPMO via email only. To receive your certificate of completion, you must provide your email address to IAPMO.
Virtual Class
For those still needing their 2026 credit, a virtual class will be held on November 16, 2026.
